Japanese for Beginners (N5)
Start here.
Speak from Day One.
A small-group online course for anyone who wants to speak Japanese.
※ This course does not cover hiragana or katakana. If you're unsure about your reading ability, feel free to get in touch.
Stop studying. Start speaking.
Whether you’re just starting out or feeling unsure about your Japanese — you’re in the right place.
At Tsudoi Nihongo, we learn the way children do — by listening carefully and repeating. Each 90-minute lesson, you notice patterns naturally without memorizing every rule. That’s what makes you a better speaker.
Of course, adults learn differently from children. That’s where your teacher comes in.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out anytime.
What you can do after N5:
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
— Introduce yourself and talk about your daily life
— Ask and answer simple questions about people and places
— Handle basic conversations with confidence
HOW IT STARTS —
Every lesson starts with one image.
One situation. One question: what would you say?
That moment of not knowing — that’s where the learning begins.
